Futurama is one of my favorite shows and the Planet Express ship from the show is iconic. I decided to try to model it in Blender. As I started making it, I realized that the built-in realistic shaders made the ship look very different from the show. I took the opportunity to learn some stylized/non-physics-based techniques to make the ship look cartoony.
I learned a lot! I was very happy with both versions of the project.
