Ozymandias is a famous poem by Percy Shelley. I always liked the imagery it evoked: a great statue representing grandeur, eroding in disrepair.
So I tried to create that here. I quickly created the statue. For the man, I went full-lazy-mode and created a very high poly mesh to sculpt in the creases. It is amazing how easy things are if you ignore performance issues.
Overall I wasn’t too happy with the results. With time, I lost some of the excitement for the project so I just focused on completing it.
